TW Steel (The Watch in Steel) established itself in the realm of wrist watches in 2005 and is famous for its oversized watch designs. Starting off with only 4 high-quality models, these stylish and oversized time pieces became very popular very quickly, and now there are roughly 140 models to choose from.
I own a this Grandeur Diver and i love it. The original strap is made of silicon but as you can see i have upgraded mine with a 22mm (black) ZULU strap. The numbers on the face and the hour/minute hands are clear to read, and the date window is a bonus. The chronograph is no different to any others that i have used, buts its the tachymeter which i love using the most. Who knew that you could measure how fast you are travelling just by using your watch??
The rotating bezel is commonly found on divers watches (my favourite feature). It kinda works like a count down timer but for no more than an hour. Lets pretend its 12:30PM and you have 15 minutes of oxygen in your tank. To be safe we want to head back to the boat in 10 minutes so we turn the dial making the arrow point to 12:40PM. Rather than trying to tell the time under water, all we have to do now is glance at the watch to see the distance between the minute hand and the arrow on the bezel.

Luxury, style, technology, comfort and elegance are just a few words that can be used to describe this coupe-crossover by Land Rover.
Everything about this car is pleasing to the eyes, from the exterior design, the leather stitching, down to the Evoque logo projected on the ground from the side mirrors… this car has the lot.
There are a number of variations you can choose from, but this review will be specifically about the Evoque DYNAMIC model.
Once you step into the drivers seat you never want to leave. The drive is comfortable, the gear changes are noticeably smooth and when you put your foot down it sure as hell goes. For fuel efficiency, I can only comment about the 2.2 litre, 4cyl Turbo-Diesel. The Evoque gets a drink every 2 weeks which is a massive improvement from the Kia Sportage (my girlfriend upgraded recently).
On the technology side, the designers at Land Rover did not hold back. I could go through the whole list but you will end up with RSI on your scrolling finger, so here are a few of my favourites:
o Push Button Start
o 8 inch High Resolution Touch-screen entertainment system
o Bluetooth connectivity
o Interior mood lighting
o Reverse Camera
o Folding Mirrors
o Electric front seats with memory
o Active blind spot sensors
o Park Assist
If I had to mention something negative in this review it would have to be the creaky doors. I will have to get it checked out by Range Rover soon, but for now I highly recommend that you visit your nearest Range Rover dealership to book a test drive.
Today marks the annual celebration day for Australia known as Australia Day which recognises the arrival of the first fleet in 1788 at Sydney Cove.
Being patriotic towards Australia, what better way to celebrate than to write about a must-know Australian luxury brand; AESOP (which also reminds me of a line from the Australian National Anthem – “… for we are young and free” – helping me stay young looking)
AESOP, a hair and beauty company combines the use organic and laboratory products to create delightful and gentle products. I personally have been using several of their products with great results for a couple of years now, including the Parsley Facial Wash, B & Tea Balancing Toner and the Parsley Seed Antioxidant Serum to name a few. AESOP products are easy to apply, harsh-less and aromatic, leaving my skin feeling fresh.
There is something about the little brown bottles that make me smile (I now have a collection of them), check out the range of AESOP products here.
