TW Steel Grandeur Diver

TW Steel (The Watch in Steel) established itself in the realm of wrist watches in 2005 and is famous for its oversized watch designs. Starting off with only 4 high-quality models, these stylish and oversized time pieces became very popular very quickly, and now there are roughly 140 models to choose from.

I own a this Grandeur Diver and i love it. The original strap is made of silicon but as you can see i have upgraded mine with a 22mm (black) ZULU strap. The numbers on the face and the hour/minute hands are clear to read, and the date window is a bonus. The chronograph is no different to any others that i have used, buts its the tachymeter which i love using the most. Who knew that you could measure how fast you are travelling just by using your watch??

The rotating bezel is commonly found on divers watches (my favourite feature). It kinda works like a count down timer but for no more than an hour. Lets pretend its 12:30PM and you have 15 minutes of oxygen in your tank. To be safe we want to head back to the boat in 10 minutes so we turn the dial making the arrow point to 12:40PM. Rather than trying to tell the time under water, all we have to do now is glance at the watch to see the distance between the minute hand and the arrow on the bezel.
